Dr. Orest Szczurko, ND graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biology with Pre-Medical Science specialty from the University of Waterloo in 1999.
Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Orest entered the four year Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario. In May 2003, after a year of internship, he graduated from CCNM, earning the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) designation. He has since founded the Noumena Naturopathic Health and Wellness Centre in central Mississauga. While he continues to practice at the Noumena Clinic, Dr. Orest also joined the research team at CCNM in December 2004. There he designs and conducts clinical research trials to further explore the effectiveness of Naturopathic Medicine. To stay at the forefront of medical and naturopathic discoveries, Dr. Orest is currently pursuing graduate research at the University of Toronto under CIHR researcher Dr. Heather Boone.
Orest Szczurko is a Naturopathic Doctor registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy (Naturopathy), the regulating body for Naturopathic Medicine in Ontario. He is also a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Naturopathic Association.
